I cannot imagine how intense this experience has been for you! I'm laughing as I type so can't be all bad. Also watching Bruce Almighty on tv which always makes me laugh. Great end to a day which has been a challenge - beautiful weather, some physical pain (I'm getting better it isn't a big deal I promise) and a mental fog which seems to be lifting. The picture of a tree in our back pasture shows wintry bare branches of an oak tree - dramatically beautiful even without leaves - at least that is how I saw it on Buhlaland today.

Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves. 16 You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. 18 A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. 19 So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. 20 Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions. " amen and amen

I so enjoyed this post, and learned some interesting things about you. 3 businesses ? Skinny dipping? I am interested, I have done neither of those things. I do see in what you write that you are someone who loves life and loves God, and i love to read your blog.Keep on posting sister !And I hope you are feeling better.

KathyB - I (to my embarrassment) am often abrasively honest - DH tries to keep in mind don't ask something you truly don't want to know. I'm working on tactfulness but at my age it might not come in time! Businesses: Bed and Breakfast Inn, Gift Shop, Real estate brokerage (of the 3 - the brokerage is still viable - hooray!). The skinny dipping - in the long ago I was extremely foolish and in the more recent -previous home had a swimming pool - no kids and no neighbors close enough to "see" - not exactly Girls Gone Wild video material. I do love the Lord and yes I'm better today - back problem so not terminal but tiring. Thanks Kathy - our lives are different in many ways, I do treasure your blog and your comments. Hope you dry out for a day or two (rains have been so heavy in WA)

Did you see any whales when you went whale-watching? It's something I'd love to do someday...

I also thought later I might want to explain my skinny-dipping experience, but nah; some things are better left alone!

Thanks for playing along!

absolutely on the whales - many times - usually humpbacked whales - one of the few times I think the word awesome can legitimately be applied to something other than the Lord!

No Kathleen ( lovely lady that she is) didn't say something naughty! I deleted her comment because goofy blogger had it show up twice. I appreciate comments and only removed the duplicate. Yep Bruce Almighty is one of my favorite Jim Carrie movies - so often he goes past funny into dumb - but B.A. was delightful. B-E-A- utiful (one of his slogans in the movie)
