I really don't have much to say - as of this evening we have 15 babies and a good possibility of 4 more. Six lively little girls and the rest wild and wooly boys. Watching them is a joy - new life and warm weather today made for great fun. DH named a pretty little doe born to our sweet Lucky Girl - her doe is now officially Lucy. All good mamas - I only have one rejected baby - a perfectly healthy little buck - first time mama so perhaps she'll be better next time. It is birthing season on Buhlaland and we love it.

That is a lot of pictures! Thank you for sharing. I think there are so many pictures that I am sure I can smell baby goats now! We came home to one more lamb so that blows our two hundred percent second birth out, oh well.
What precious babies. And an abundance of bucks too !Does that help you with narrowing down the choices of who stays?
You are almost making me long for warm sunshine and dry days. Joy oh joy, long eared, pretty babies in abundance !What a joyous Sunday you will have!
Having a good big crop of babies makes it a little easier for me - I work at not getting attached to the little boys and have plenty of girls to enjoy. For now - we plan to keep the does and wether the males. After that - it depends on the market for selling them and how many make it (as we all know - it is a long time from now until they are around 60 lbs. - lots of coyotes and possible hazards) One thing keeping animals will teach you quickly - it is good to have a plan and a plan B - 'cause things don't work out according to our plans. Thanks for coming by - good Sunday so far - one more doe from our dear Nubiana and all the critters are enjoying our 70 degree heat (a cold front is coming - hmmmm - winter is not giving up without a fight)
Awwww..... I love it!! Wish I was there to help!
