Somebody got cheated!

It was evident when looking over recent postings - Milky Way had been done a wrong. She was born two days before the new little doe and never got her moment in the spotlight. Milky Way's dad was named Snickers (so she is a similar candy bar name) and her mama is our beloved doe named Norman.

Milky Way and the yet to be named doeling of Lucky's are turning out to be best buddies. Lucky's girl is actually heavier bodied than her older cousin. So all is even for now - the twins Lanny and Fanny have each other and Milky and new girl are buddying up. It is always good to have a playmate.

In the last goat picture Milky is sniffing the very fence post her goatkeeper/ blogger person ran into and fell onto Saturday night. Most likely Milky is thinking "how weird can you be to fall over something this big?" and I confess when I look at it in the daylight I think the same thing!

Here is a rare self portrait - no makeup and no earrings - obviously vanity is not MY name woman! A bit bruised and tender here on Buhlaland but healing and grateful no worse injury - face, some body bruises and a huge blow to my "rugged farm gal" image!! Y'all will be getting more timely goatzee updates. No Kidding - well actually more kidding would be correct. It is good on Buhlaland - blessed with new healthy lives and protection from our own clumsiness!

Thanks Pam - my "kids" would love your human kids - they are at the bouncy stage of everything being fun and make us just laugh watching them try to get from one spot to the next - bouncing!

I hope you are feeling better and healing. I too have taken a slip/fall/trip/have no clue what happened experience. Now, Ted tells me to "watch out, you know how you are". I have taken to just going with the fall. It seems to hurt less. The doelings are so beautiful. We are expecting mid March and I am scared to death. Thank heavens, they know what they are doing. Happy healing.

Oh man , LindaSue, that is a big bad bruise and you are so fortunate for there to nothing more seriously wrong with a fall down and smack like that!

The kids are so cute...it is going to be hard to decide who might have to be sold, isn't it?

No way, Linda Sue? Does it hurt to smile and laugh? I am glad you did not knock any teeth out. I imagine it scared you when it happened.

Milky...on the other hand is looking precious!

I hardly wear makeup or earrings. I am not a total mess, my theory is, "See me as God made me."

thank you all for the comments - my face is actually not swollen now and mostly just black with some yellow accents. Had the last of our "expected" births yesterday and will post pictures tomorrow. All healthy beauties and 6 does with only one buckling - that is wonderful.

Linda Sue! Bless your heart - rather your face! You really walloped yourself, girl. Very pretty colors tho! And I'm so glad you didn't hurt yourself worse! And don't things hurt more the older we get!

I see "Lulu" stuck! Very cute babies all around, but I think Milky is my fave. I'm glad Somebody is getting to have babies!

LindaSue said...

Vickie - yes Lulu it is - she is a REAL lulu - or doozy. Any ruckus in the pen and she is either IN the middle or just racing away from it!

Oh, Linda Sue- bless your heart! That last picture made me hurt for you! Hope you're feeling much better now, and I'm glad you weren't hurt any worse than that.
Milky Way is a looker for sure... I'm glad you let her have her shining moment!!
