DH walking our pasture fences looking for areas needing repair. He is wearing his portable oxygen tank. Sometimes I let myself be overcome by what the future MIGHT hold for us - and I become sad, afraid, unsure. God knows where we are and what we need - yesterday it was reassurance.
We saw our first robin of the year during our walk yesterday - the sunshine and beauty of God's creation gave me a sense of "all is as it should be". Easy to remove my eyes from the Creator to the mess His creations can make. Grateful for His faithfulness and watch care over us. It is good on Buhlaland - because His eye is on more than sparrows and robins.
Matthew 10:26-33
Matthew 10:26-33
"So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

I am glad I am more than a sparrow or a robin. I am glad I am in the hands of a loving and just God. Very glad. Thank you for this post this morning.
I honestly don't know what people do who do not know the Lord. Praying for the Lord's peace in your heart and life.
Lanny - I guess I'd rather be a sparrow in a tree in heaven than the biggest creature in hell - boy I'm sounding hardline lately - guess I am feeling a bit hardliner. Pam - I don't either - it is hard when I remember my life before Jesus was not only my savior but my Lord and Master.
That's the absolute truth, Linda. None of us knows what tomorrow will bring. Thank you for reminding me. I haven't seen a robin one so far, which just proves they have more sense than I do!
Debbie
SPRING is surely on the way...that is how we know here in Minnesota when you see a robin spring is near. Could any of us survive with out the saving grace of our LORD and Savior...hope he brings you peace through this time.
Lindasue, just want you to know, my prayres are with you and your husband. I have had a robin show up here as well! blessings,Kathleen
There's nothing like a robin's return, reminding us of new life ahead.
Wonderful post, Linda Sue- and such encouraging words from the Lord!
We've seen lots of robins this past week. They are ridding us of some of those awful grubworms we have each spring- I'm sure thankful to see them in the yard!
I love that song, and especially Selah's rendition of it. I am happy to see your husband IS walking the fence-line and you are rejoicing in this. LindaSue, you are so very good at putting things into perspective, His perspective. Thank-you Sister~
