"1 Corinthians 2:14 (GOD’S WORD Translation) 14A person who isn’t spiritual doesn’t accept the teachings of God’s Spirit. He thinks they’re nonsense. He can’t understand them because a person must be spiritual to evaluate them."
I regret this will sound like some sort of special club or code you have to have to grasp the Word - it isn't - it is so clear and straightforward it sounds foolish in humanistic thinking.
Bless those who are helping and those making decisions about assistance. Being prepared is the big issue - no matter what catastrophe might occur.
It is thundering here on Buhlaland but only rain predicted - the land is good with rain. Buhlaland is a good place to contemplate eternity.
Also contemplating why the combination of Google Chrome and Blogger is SO danged difficult to manipulate - but it works about as well as a free browser and website can (I guess)

Hi Linda, So very thankful your damage was minimal as was ours in last weeks bad weather. Having just visited the north west GA area and then to see the devastation this past week really made an impact on me. Praying for those whose lives have been devastated.
Hope you two have a nice week and lots of sunshine.
I always think of the fair when I see cotton candy and snow cones. Also, I remember the days when I could eat/chew candy apples or caramel apples!!!!!
Hope you have some warm, bright sun today.
Thankful you and yours are well after the storm. We had tree damage but nothing else and the tree damage was on side of tree away from my bedroom. Had the dogs not been so crazed with storm fear, I'd have slept through the whole thing.
Here we are contemplating eternity and our "temporary human experience" as well, all days, every day, for every day is His. Listening carefully and carefully sorting, leaning on His understanding not man's. An every day pursuit eh, especially hard when in the midst of tragedy and in the midst of calm, but possible, as all things are. Impossible if you don't have the one True God as your highlighting of the Word points to.
So glad you all are alright on Buhlaland, Linda Sue....
So much devastation from these storms, my mind has a hard time grasping it.
I am so glad to read all is good , truly good, there on Buhl-a-Land! It is so true, hard enough for a believer to understand sometimes, but for those who suffer tragic losses to family, health, home, such devastation can crush them and cause anger and bitterness. Sometimes though, it causes them to seek God, the One who carries us through and beyond the often crippling effects of life.
"The land is good with rain" Praise Him.
