Memorial Day 2011

Beautiful skies over Buhlaland this morning - a bird soaring in the wind. We are grateful for the sacrifice of those who serve and served our country in the military and the ministry.

Skies can be cloudy, windy - almost stormy but bring beautiful days

"Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own."

We frequently think of and quote this scripture from Matthew - not as a "oh woe is me" but a "praise our gracious Father God - today is all we know and can handle". We do know the One who knows tomorrow, gives us the strength one day at a time. Still rough going in our lives, health is a precious commodity - healthy body, mind and spirit - the trifecta of life.

With the day to day troubles we have it is easy to forget what today stands for. All Americans should appreciate what was sacrificed so we can enjoy our freedoms. Nice post. Greatly appreciated.

Amen on the Bible verse; it gets me through the day.
You and Skip are in my thoughts and prayers.

Beautiful skies over Buhl-a-land and your trust in Him and His ways for your lives makes me glad.

The sky was where I would look and think about eternity when I was a little girl, and it still causes me to ponder God and His world, His ways.Of course, our mother told us thunder storms were angels having pillow fights and I believed that.

I am praying for you both.

A very good verse to keep in the front of our minds.

Stopping by this weekend to say "hi" and God bless you both. If you love kittens, there is a 27- second video on my Saturday night post - so sweet - my niece shared it with me!!! Sure to put a smile on your face.
