June? how can it be June??

Graduation celebrations, a ton of June birthdays, a garden not planted (tiny tomato is still in the planting POT not in soil), spring blooming wildflowers fading.
Big oak trees fully leafed out - mustang grapes so big and round just tempting birds and raccoons to come get'em.

June

In Texas - how can I fail to mention sky - sky getting cloudy, sky with jet contrails streaking across as if there is a crack appearing (no folks - no sky is falling believers here!). Sky looking as if God is about to peek through the clouds and His Shekinah Glory is already breaking through.

It is really June here on Buhlaland - and so very good - DH is doing reasonably well, we are blessed beyond belief by friends and prayer warriors and big unpredictable skies!

I love big unpredictable skies. We don't have those at the moment. Ours are very predictable, rain! Good to hear things are going well, late eh? but well.

Brandi - mustang grapes are wild grapes - bitter as all get out but beloved by birds and critters.

Lanny girl - we are getting a rare June light rain - definitely needing it - pastures already getting dusty. Things are going OK for us - one day at a time.

I like the cake picture...is that something you made? It sure looks yummy. We have had a very warm Spring, what little spring we get...I hope the Summer isn't to humid. The really big storms keep passing us by. I am waiting for a really good thunderstorm.

What are Mustang grapes? Your sky shows a bit of sunshine, ours has been steadily showering , storming and downright gray for many days now. Actually heading for record lows and record rainfall here ....but I digress ( something about seeing others having sunshine and good weather above 60 degrees causes this in me)

I am so happy to read you and your DH are doing well and life there on Buhl-a-land is pleasant and you are rejoicing in Him!Beautiful pictures Linda Sue.

Yes I made the cake - chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate truffles on top for decoration. Chocolate overload!
Mustang grapes are a wild grape in this part of Texas - they grow up and over the tops of trees and in very wet springs produce big grapes which are usually all eaten by birds and critters before they ripen. VERY tangy flavor - we used to laugh at people who made jam or jelly from them - called it sugar jam with mustang flavoring!

Looking good over there! Yep, I can't believe the calendar's changed again. Wasn't it just March a few days ago? I think the Lord is speeding up time for His return.

Hi Linda ~ what beautiful pictures. That last cloud picture is my favorite. I think of you both often and pray that you are having a good day today. I have added you to my favorites - I am so sorry to have missed so many of your posts.
