Delays,Delovely,Delightful

Today was marked on our calendars as "CHICK DAY" - well this chick has had a good day but didn't get any peeps. Feed store said there was a Delay. The Rojo Casita awaits our 8 Golden Comet pullets.

This morning was foggy and overcast, seemed primeval (if primeval could include hearing a radio playing in some neighbor's barn). The goats grumbled a bit about damp grounds and wet nibbles.

I went out early with my camera while things were still drippy and the humidity was 102%. Macro setting for the newly budded out oak leaves and lichen and maybe mosses (I'm not good on flora/ fauna) on trunks of other oak trees.

Psalm 117
1 Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth. 2 For he loves us with unfailing love; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever.
Praise the Lord!

It has been a delaying, delovely, delightful day on Buhlaland - pretty cool huh?

Hi Linda - Thanks for stopping by with your words of encouragement. I know the Lord will handle all things in due time.

I'm sorry to hear about your little Zoe. My dad had a precious dog that had it and was treated successfully twice. I'm hoping that Zoe is strong and takes the treatments well and that she will be heartworm-free very soon! Keep us posted on her. And yes, you CAN cry if you want to!

Isn't humidity of 102% called rain? His love is unfailing. Our worship of Him ought to be too.

Primeval is often the most apt description of our weather, especially in the low land forests...this is the kind of day I long for, damp and overcast. Beautiful pictures, but too bad about the chick delay.Peeps are so much fun!

Thank YOU Sand Flat Farm one of the great aspects of blogging is having folks who are going through, have gone through, or know someone's experience with going through most of the challenges we face. Not misery loves company but two are better than one!
Lanny- sometimes 102% humidity is rain but sometimes it is just my Texas way of saying how soaking wet everything feels (I am prone to exaggeration - just a tad). I am in a season of re learning how I depend on God's character - faithfulness, steadfastness ,and my biggie- He loves me as I am. I don't love me as I am but the Creator of the Universe DOES!
KathyB Peep delay was all to the good - we had more time to rearrange things! DH likes to improve situations - the great improver.
