We were blessed with a good day and felt so secure since we had an actual security patrol even as we walked around the grounds of our friend's home. Yep Sigmund the Dachshund - offical Body Guard. I'll post other things later on but figured a non food related post and nothing about shopping would be welcome today! It is damp and chilly here on Buhlaland this morning and I'm about to treadmill it with ipod in ears and too much in body! Added a picture of the dinner table our friends decorated - the thing which look like scrolls are crackers or poppers - usually done at Christmas but as I posted not long ago - I need a little Christmas right this very minute! They make a popping sound when you pull on the ends, then there is a joke , a gold paper crown and a little prize inside. Just for fun - fun and fellowship and full -- that summed up our Thanksgiving! Oh and safe - very safe with Sigmund the security patrol on duty!

How cute! Best body guard ever!
really cute! what a great idea for a puppy...have to let my son know about the sweatshirt....
So CUTE! Love it. I wish Mabel would wear things... but that's an ordeal of horrendous proportion. ;)
Your little guard dog is adorable! You mentioned your poppers or crackers....did you make them? I would love to learn how! I love these kinds of things at the Christamas eve table. Blessings, Kathleen
Oh Kathleen - I love it when you think I'm capable of "craft" - no not me. I purchased them quite adeptly at Costco - but this place online looks like a great source for you creative types!http://www.blamemama.com/411-crafts/55-christmas-crackers.htm
Adorable! I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving! We did, too.
We returned from holiday travels last night and I actually posted today. I know -- CRAZY! Bet you thought I'd never post again!
Blessings!

Sigmund is cute and I bet he would do a good job of protecting you too. The thanksgiving table is lovely and my Hubby's favorite aunt used to put 'crackers' around the table for her gatherings. First time I ever saw them, now I know what English authors are talking about when the refer to 'crackers' at parties...not the kinds with cheese!
Yes, I need a little Christmas too...and how is your little furry companion ? Oh, I love your goat pictures...again I miss my herd of noisy, busy-body Nubians.
Haha!! How cute!! Do you think they make one of those shirts small enough to fit my rooster Hamburger? LOL
Paula maybe so - your rooster is probably the size of a tea cup poodle isn't he? LOL
cute cute. Im coming by for dinner next year!
Rachel and Jacob will be welcomed at our table any time - I just served leftovers in a fabulous turkey pot pie (thank you Razor Farms for a terrific recipe!) you might drop by for that too! Gobble gobble!
