Surprised? Me too!

I don't often post two days in a row - but today was such a nice surprise. Out in the pasture with a couple of the goatzees - white bodied one is Norman, our dearest and best natured doe. Norman was walking around with me, staying close by my side and apparently fooling the deer into thinking I was one of the goats! Had the pleasant surprise of coming upon our resident deer with her twin fawns. Norman by my side seemed to calm down the situation until I pushed too close and the little ones skedaddled over to mom for some security. It was so much fun this morning on a short walk on Buhlaland. Hope you have a pleasant surprise today also.

That is wonderful, thanks Norman! Thanks LindaSue for posting twice in a row! It is good to see - very inspiring! Our day here is just starting but it is a wonderful foggy summer morning - soon to burn off and be beautiful and a bit cool - just right for more work as unto the Lord!

What a special gift. Each time something like that happens to me I am thankful and call it a gift. It's like we are privileged to enter into their world. Thank you Norman.

Lovely photos of the doe and her fawns and a wonderful surprise. The early mornings are best, the brutal heat has yet to set in.
