It is autumn on Buhlaland

Tap Tap Tap -- pecking on screen to get attention? anybody in there???
yes we are around - little going on other than day to day life. Cluckers continue to provide 6-8 eggs a day but DH beginning to grumble about the work involved (putting them up at night and now we put a load of sand in the run because they are digging to China in there!) so I'll enjoy them while I can.

On a totally different note - this song has been playing in my head for several days - in my head I sound just like Selah does singing it -- too bad in the physical world I sound more like one of my silly cluckers! Sit back a minute and revel in the wonderful merciful Savior.

All the beauty of the created world and heaven is promised too! It is good on Buhlaland and we are continually amazed by the mercy of our Savior.

You are so right! He is merciful and His grace is abundant. I was just listening to James McDonald talk about how Gods' love is incomplete in us until we share it with others. Today, I go to teach in ladies' prison as I do each week and share the love of Christ with them. I learn more than they!

PS. God's love is obviously flowing through you as you share that with us on your blog. Thank you, your blog is a blessing.

wow Debbie- that is a terrific ministry - yes love isn't love until it is shared is it?

I LOVE the music and songs by Selah! Autumn seems to be a special season to us from everywhere in this country.

It is pretty easy to teach poultry to pen themselves up at night, but someone still has to close the pen door. Would that help your DH be more kindly inclined to keep the cluckers around? Or you could move their pen around to wherever you need the ground dug up.
The beauty of this world, and the marvel of delicious fresh eggs from the rear end of a chicken never cease to remind me of God's mercy and grace!

Hey thanks for the musical interlude this morning. It was very nice. I'll play it again while I get my coffee pressed.

Kathy - the Coop Mahal is NOT a moveable creature - built to withstand hurricanes I believe and we haven't had one of those in - well forever! Part of our issue is we like to put the animals up before it is totally dark - because WE go to be once it is totally dark! He'll cope with it - just a touch grouchy due to the high doses of steroids right now - and like me - he really enjoys having all these eggs to share with people. Thanks for the comments and yes - I'm glad God thought up delicious nutritious eggs from a clucker's hiney 'cause I'm pretty sure I never ever would have thought that one up!

obviously I should have said we like to be in bed by the time it is totally dark. Hey Lanny - great to have you drop by - pressing your coffee - do you use the permanent press setting or steam? Just kidding - a french press is great coffee - glad you enjoyed the music and good to have you back to blogging!

Oh I love that song Linda Sue!! I have heard it before, but never knew who sang it. Thanks for sharing it- now I know whose beautiful voices those are.

I love your chiken picture- nothing like a good close up! Your girls must be digging themselves some dust-bath holes... my back yard is full of them and wouldn't you know I have weak ankles- not a good combination! *LOL*

I love that song (and most by Selah) - their voices are so beautiful! And the message even more lovely!

I bet your chicks loved having that sand in their pen. They can dust bathe and wallow all they want! Coop Mahal - haha!

This is my favorite time of the year but also difficult getting ready for winter. So many chores, so much to do and you know how difficult it is. I spent today cleaning the textiles to, hopefully, get rid of some of the dust that's causing breathing problems. Thank God we were able to buy a commercial washer; it's been getting a lot of workout lately and I've still got to finish prepping the gardens...work is never done, eh? -smile-
