Steven Sondheim isn't my first choice for lyricist (since I tend toward hymns and praise songs as musical interests) but from the depths of my life's music listening time - this came to me:
C'est la vie.
I got through all of last year
And I'm here.
Lord knows, at least I was there,
And I'm here!
Look who's here!
I'm still here!
I got through all of last year
And I'm here.
Lord knows, at least I was there,
And I'm here!
Look who's here!
I'm still here!
Not much I want to say today - we still haven't finished renovations sufficiently to move to new home. Have prayed and talked ---DH and I are both at the point of "God's will" in regards to transplant (will let you know how well I do with that after the transplant evaluation begins at the end of this month). We "did church" together this morning - this video came up on a search on Youtube for Gaithers and I like Alan Asbury's version but Ricky Skaggs does a good job.
We know many somebodies are praying us through - and it makes all the difference. For those of you who know her - please include Sandra Bennett in your prayers now. We' re still here- on Buhlaland and being kept from things we can't even see.

This is one of my favorite songs. Keeping you both in my prayers. Thanks, also, for sharing about Sandra's loss - we'll be keeping her in our prayers as well. God bless you.
Yes, ma'am there's alot of folks praying for you both. Big obstacle ahead with the transplant. I hope and pray all goes well with that, Linda Sue.
Love Ricky Skaggs singing gospel songs. I love that he's stayed true to his Lord, too, while so many have gone my the wayside.
thanks y'all - I sounded a tad dramatic in this blog post - still have major issues to pray through deal with and generally survive - but somehow God's grace is always getting us through. I'm getting the itch to read Billy Graham's newest book - apparently even Dr. Graham didn't plan to get old and doesn't particularly like much of it!
This is my favorite of songs. Do know that I am keeping you in my prayers and for your friend Sandra. blessings,Kathleen
Still praying for you here in Tennessee, Linda Sue... and praying for Sandra- I did not find out until this morning that Dave was gone.
Love Ricky's version of that song, too...
Hello from Kansas!
May you have a terrific Thanksgiving Day.
Billy Graham's newest book does sound like a very good one to read. I like him alot and think he knows what he's talking about.
Good to hear from you.
God bless,
