Honeysuckle and a Hummer

Oh not that huge vehicle - a busy tiny visitor who was making trips to honeysuckle all you can eat buffet Sunday afternoon. We don't put up bird feeders of any kind - plenty in our area for birds to consume in season and troughs for their drinking pleasure. Must be warm weather - honeysuckle, birds, thunderstorms (last night) and I'm wearing shorts! Yep - it is warm on Buhlaland and that is very good.

You may notice - I'm writing shorter blog posts - unless a writing bug bites me - this is probably the only way I'll keep on blogging. I treasure the interaction with y'all who are kind enough to read about life on Buhlaland I simply don't have many words right now. Thankeweberrymuch!

Our honeysuckle is in full bloom, too, and VERY happy. It seems that the more I work on getting rid of it, the more it blooms. I haven't seen any hummingbirds yet, though. The picture was just perfect. Short posts are a good thing --- especially much better than NO post at all. Always love stopping by here. It always makes me smile when I see those big smoochy faces at the top of your blog!!!!

Beautiful picture, Linda Sue... I put my hummer feeders out over the weekend because I thought I saw one. I haven't seen any takers on the nectar yet, but I know it's just a matter of time!
No matter how many words you write or don't write, it's still good for me to visit Buhlaland!

You were quick enough to catch a hummer of the tiny sort on camera. Good work LindaSue, they are so pretty and a real treat to have around .

Your short , sweet posts are worth the visit, please keep them up.

I saw on the news how Texas is getting quite a blast of hot and drought- inducing weather. Wish we could send some slush and snow your way to ease the heat, maybe you could send just a wee bit of sunshine our way? Everything in its' time, and God sends the rain and the sunshine in His ways and time, Praise Him !

Hi Linda Sue! I've been a busy gal but I just wanted to send you a big THANKS! for the spring card! I did get it and wanted you to know how much I appreciate you thinking of me!

Hopefully, I'll get back to blogging when the wedding is over! Take care, my friend - hope Skip is doing well!

So delightful a sight. I'm just sure my honeysuckle will indeed bloom, but right now we seem to be stuck in very early spring, only daffs, the tulips are even afraid to come out of their green shells.

Just yesterday I was wondering about putting out the hummer feeders. Dave laughs at me because I feed birds year 'round. Only the hummers are fed during spring, summer and autumn but seed is put out year 'round.
