Post Holiday Sleep In

Crybaby and her twins were still sleeping when I went out to open pasture gates this morning. She has claimed the old door from a fiberglass shelter as her bed. It was much later than normal when I went out - yet the twins, Lantana and Fantana were reluctant to wake up.
Slowly and surely they began the process - these two sleep all snuggled up and have figured a way to do a morning stretch while still snuggled! It is the little things on Buhlaland which keep us amused. It is good - 'cause we are not much fans of excessive noise and rowdiness (unlike most of the celebrating world this past weekend)!

Oh that is so sweet. You just can't help but smile seeing that scene. Hope you two have a nice day.

Those sweet little babies make me want to snuggle up for a nap with them! They are so cute!

Sounds like y'all had a wonderful Fourth Linda! I've copied your cauliflower salad recipe. It looks wonderful and your berry pie looks all festive and delish, too!

Hope you both are doing well there in Buhlaland! Best wishes for a great week! (and more rain...)

Looks like everybody was a little weary from the long, celebratory weekend! :) Loved your comment on the Hebrew hot dogs (we answer to a higher power)!!! Hahahahaha... The cauliflower and strawberry pie recipes look wonderful. Will have to try them.

Now that is the way I prefer to wake up, slowly and comfortably. Even better when snuggled against my husband!( or a grandchild who has climbed into bed to wake up with me)Crybaby is a sweet mama.( do you think the fireworks kept her awake too late?)

I agree with you, the quiet and simple things are truly amazing and precious when you have or make the time to take them in.Blessings of the best kind.
