Good to have a Friend

I've been a little tired - for what seems a long while but tired distorts my sense of time and probably proportion. This morning -this glorious summery SonDay morning - the gifts of rest, restoration and worship are mine to enjoy. While shooting a picture directly at a light source isn't "right" - I loved the effect of pure light breaking through. The light breaks through both visually and emotionally - and yes spiritually. I do have a friend - who will be with me to the end. Life is blessed on Buhlaland with productive work, times of tiredness leading to surrendering to rest. Bless y'all - sit a while and think of how the light reaches you. It is good on Buhlaland - and restful

The sunlight looks so nice shining through the trees and the music is so pretty. A good way to start the day.

Dear Linda Sue,
God bless you this fine Sunday!

Thank you for the sweet comments you left me on my blog. You have hughly blessed me and wanted to let you know that I needed to hear what you shared.

As I listened to the music, my granddaughter started to dance!
I tried to film it.

God bless you in Buhl-a-land,
d

Mildred dear - while my gardens are not so lovely as yours (by a LONG shot) the trees and grasses planted by the Lord are stunning to me every day. Thank you for coming by!
Deanna - I've added you to my blogroll and will be reminded to pray for the fullest possible recovery and easiest possible journey to that recovery. Thank you for your kind remarks - the Lord comforts us to make us comforters not comfortable and I've been comforted for years!

Your pictures of light are very "enlightening"~ I still especially love the light filtering through the trees and mist onto the deer in your beautiful header.

Rest and restoration truly are gifts from God , and sometimes to me the gift of being tired from my labors allowing me to fall soundly asleep is a wonderful blessing!

I know the tiredness of which you speak. Sometimes, most times, the road we have to travel is quite a burden, amidst the good and abundant life. God is always there but the possibility to be weary is always there too, at least that is what I read in "don't be weary." Especially when it is a burden that is someone else's that touches our lives greatly but is their story not our own to share, no one knows the burden that is born, no one knows the reason for the stolen look of exhaustion, or sigh for comfort. That tiredness is tiredness indeed. And for one I am glad God is there to see me through in those times, that He gifts us with uplifting moments such as your deer and goats provide, or rat terrier shenanigans or daughter's getting married. Large gifts in small times.
