I saw the report as well. I also saw where someone (a supplier) suggested that she was going to translate everything. I do not give enough away, nor pay to have my blog reviewed, so I hope am not affected. Thank you for the heads up.

The feds will never figure out if they legislate the rest of us out of business, they will be out of a job as well!

Big government. They are going to govern us to death. Don't EVEN get me started. I'm glad it doesn't affect me either. They just GOT to get their big toe into every little bitty thing. (grumble, grumble, grumble...)

I kind of figured this was coming.I heard this on the news tonight. So far I don't think I have anything to worry about. Nobody pays me anything for reviews, products, etc.If I endorse something it is because I like it...there is no stopping a money hungry government is there? It grows and grows and grows until it eats it's people up!But hey, the news tonight said this is for OUR good, to protect US!

I'm glad I'm small potatoes too, Linda Sue, and don't have to worry about it, but I still don't understand why the government has to interfere with EVERYTHING! Jeez!

Thanks for all the comments - I think what I'd LOVE to ask governmental types is whatever happened to buyer beware? I mean really - you'd think people should be in charge of their own buying decisions but now governmental regulation wants to keep everyone "safe" - nothing safe about continued surrender of our rights to mess up! Failure is a learning tool as much as anything - I know in my life I've run into a few brick walls before I have truly believed they are solid! Will the "good old days" be when we didn't have such a "safe" life?

This also includes endorsements on blogs. In other words, if you were to post a link to my blog, say in your sidebar (other than your blog roll), you would need to post a statement that you are not receiving payment for endorsing my blog.

I have a link on my website that I actually was gifted for in 2008, a pair of boots. I would imagine this is type of thing they (gov) have their eyes open to.

What Kathy said is exactly how I have been feeling. The noose is tightening. I mean, we pay 30%, and then we pay more, and then our little rights are gone!
