Scripture states "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." We don't know what glory comes with staying up half the night coughing - just know the Lord gives Skip the endurance to get up the next day and live life as best we can.
I think my description of the storms and moonlight were more romantic than the reality - Skip has trouble sleeping and the bright light really adds to the situation - but it is often pretty - last night he said it looked like winter with snow on the ground the moonlight was so bright. Bless y'all - and thank you for your blessing of us.LindaSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01684545110832413808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4607260760839481724.post-10102938760652947842010-09-23T06:24:19.365-05:002010-09-23T06:24:19.365-05:00Your in our prayers. And you feel like you got nothing, but in actuality, you have everything, like you expressed. I learned to see in a different perspective, from a different perspective, and those things aren't trivial. They're deep. So, please share some of those deep things. Writing is catharctic. There you are, in the middle of your lives, sleeping in the living room, yet, you find a bit of humor and life goes on.

You focus on the most important things in life, and the rest is side-lined. I can see that.

God bless you, you are both in my prayers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4607260760839481724.post-33874648289939481732010-09-21T16:54:29.871-05:002010-09-21T16:54:29.871-05:00Mercy, how well I can relate. Moonlight and lightening storms, I love to sleep with my husband and have such blessings stream through our window. Your descriptive words reminded me of some very sweet times my husband and I had in our old home seeing long and exciting lightening storms thru our bedroom window, while our 3 children slept peacefully in their rooms.

You and your beloved husband sleeping in the living room together amidst such storms and moonlight, precious.KathyB.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13076933273610590290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4607260760839481724.post-32408341100036007482010-09-20T21:01:53.307-05:002010-09-20T21:01:53.307-05:00well. its nice to hear from you and even though my...well. its nice to hear from you and even though my blogging has slowed down life hasnt...
