Whatever you're using to encourage yourself and your husband with always encourages me, too. Thanks for sharing this. I'm keeping up with you guys. KathyB and Lanny - I know I believe procrastination is incorrectly pronounced - it is being a PRO at crastination - ya have to be good at something right? Debbie - love the old catechism question - what is the purpose of life? To glorify God - simple and true. Dani - glad to give someone a lift - have been working on my own attitude lately with the rather constant challenges but God is faithful even when I am not.
Yes I can tell Jacob Parker has something to "sell" online but he seems sincere and the link is not to anything negative (that I could tell). I'll only delete offensive or obviously inappropriate comments. Thank you one and all for commenting - I love borrowing Max's words - he has such skill at putting complex topics right there on the accessible shelves.LindaSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01684545110832413808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4607260760839481724.post-13814448121218331542009-10-12T19:44:56.270-05:002009-10-12T19:44:56.270-05:00Lovely and wonderful words. I have only seen the white mushrooms in my part of Texas...I want pretty ones like yours! Did you go to the state fair this year? We have not been in a few years...I miss it. Being encouraged in the face of the reality that comes with this world is always a pleasure. Glad to see the Lord is working in others lives, as He obviously is in yours. There is no greater joy than living for Christ nor any greater challenge or more victories in any other. Glad I visited you today. I understand about gloomy weather. I'm getting ready for a long winter in the Midwest. At least I don't have to water and mow!
DebDebbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04612935931627314524noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4607260760839481724.post-16083520376737699752009-10-12T10:39:27.755-05:002009-10-12T10:39:27.755-05:00Great post. (Well that is my excuse anyway) We had bright sunny skies over the weekend, a bit of a cloudy Saturday but that was good for all the hard physical labor that was going on. But the rains are a comin' so I am putting my mind in that direction and your post about the rain dependent beauties in our lives is a very good thing. But I do pray that the sun will pop out for you soon.Lannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16018584509455303394noreply@blogger.com
